Why Do Gram Gold and Troy Ounce Gold Prices Differ?
Gold and silver are traded internationally in troy ounces. 1 troy ounce = 31.1035 grams. Gram price = Ounce price ÷ 31.1035. The tool shows both; the gram option is more practical for everyday purchases, while the ounce option is better for international comparisons.
Tips for Accurate Results
- API data loads when the page first opens; wait a few seconds if your connection is slow.
- Crypto prices are volatile — press the Refresh button before important transactions.
- The gram gold price may not match jeweller prices exactly; jewellers apply their own spread.
- Currency data updates daily; use the Central Bank website for the live TCMB rate.
